Manitoba has had agricultural success for many years. Saskatchewan lies to the west and Ontario to the east. Winnipeg is Manitoba’s capital city. It is possible for non-Canadian citizens to get PR status in Canada through the various PNP acts. Primarily, this PNP scheme seeks to address labor deficit by luring employees, agricultural entrepreneurs, and new graduates.

Skilled Workers Abroad: The Skilled Workers Abroad program is a pathway to permanent residency for skilled workers who have a strong connection to Manitoba. Applicants must have at least one of the following – a close relative in Manitoba, previous education or work experience in Manitoba, or a Manitoba invitation to apply.

International Education Stream: The International Education Stream is a program designed to attract and retain international graduates from Manitoba post-secondary institutions. There are three pathways under this program.

The Career Employment Pathway is for international graduates with a job offer from a Manitoba employer in a high-demand occupation.

The Graduate Internship Pathway is for international graduates with a graduate-level internship offer from a Manitoba employer.

The Student Entrepreneur is for international graduates who have completed a program of at least two years at a Manitoba post-secondary institution and have a viable business concept that they can implement in Manitoba.

Skilled Workers in Manitoba: The Skilled Workers in Manitoba program is a pathway to permanent residency for skilled workers who have a job offer from a Manitoba employer. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program, including having the necessary education, work experience, language proficiency, and settlement funds.

This program is divided into two pathways: the Manitoba Work Experience Pathway and the Employer Direct Recruitment Pathway.

Business Investor Stream: The Business Investor Stream is a program designed to attract experienced business people and investors to Manitoba. There are two pathways under this program: the Entrepreneur Pathway and the Farm Investor Pathway.

The Entrepreneur Pathway is for experienced business people who want to start or purchase a business in Manitoba. The Farm Investor Pathway is for experienced farm operators and managers who want to establish a farm operation in Manitoba.
